DSLR want or need?

I know most of you know that I am really into the photography thingie. I am mostly active on Flickr where Photographers and the like unite. Its been years now that I keep saying I need a DSLR and I even keep telling all my Flickr friends about how tired I am of editing my photos to achieve a DSLR look. But, honestly, I want to think that I don’t need those digital slr cameras cos I really don’t need them lol. I think I’m not ready yet to have that such expensive camera cos I don’t have the luxury to spend much time on taking photos. I mostly use my advance point and shoot, the KodakZ710. I’ve been using it for almost 3 yrs now. It’s a great camera with almost the same function as a DSLR but the thing is you can’t attach good quality lenses. But… oh well, I’ve got my own talent where I can make my boring photos fabulously fantastic hehehe.

If given a chance this is what I want…

Actually, what I need to buy is a new tripod cos the one I have right now is broken. Not really broken but I lost that thing where you connect the camera on the top of the tripod. I like to take self-portrait photos cos that’s what I do in Flickr. I have lots of groups in Flickr whereas you submit photos according to the group’s weekly theme. But since I cant use my tripod, I’m recently inactive in Flickr but I’m busy offline.

You can literally get anything off the internet. Want some delivery? Order them online! Want Medifast coupons? Get them online! Want some wigs? Get them online too! This is why a lot of people are being bums in home and just staring in front of the computer and already forget the outside world. I’m thinking of putting up a site like forget technology [dot] com or something and show pictures of the wonderful life outside of their homes. Get a move with technology but you need to get a move on with your life and do something physical too! Innovation is great, but it’s greater to experience innovation in the flesh.

Like I mentioned before, we might be moving to a new apartment in a few weeks. We would buy new furniture’s like beds, couch, dining table and  TV. I’m very excited especially about the TV. I’ve been looking at different TV’s online and so far from all the TV’s I’ve checked out, Samsung HDTV’s seems to be the best one. According to customers who purchased a Samsung HDTV the picture and sound quality is awesome. So, when I go to Bestbuy in a few weeks I would definitely go for Samsung.

My husband and I are planning to get a new TV when we move to a new apartment soon.  We want to get a widescreen plasma TV and have it mounted on the wall. Although plasma mounts are a bit pricey especially after spending a lot of money on the TV itself, it would still be very convenient to purchase one rather than buying a regular TV stand which occupies a lot of space. I bet my husband is really excited to play his ps3 on a new big screen TV.

A lot of my friends took it, because according to them IT jobs pay a lot of moolah, and if you’re really interested with the latest technology and the details behind it this kind of job will be just like child’s play. I’m actually doing web design, and I can tell you guys that it’s a really fun job. The thing with technology is that there are many ways to do things, so there is no 1 distinct formula for a certain task; you can all let your imaginations flow. Especially nowadays when everyone has become environmental conscious and hybrid cars are popping out. You also have the biofuel which maintains your eco-friendly streak. Again the many wonders of the world wide web, you can create wonderful videos for your photo memories and create quirky personal montages to your friends! You might even create a video that may help a product like life insurance leads and put it up a site. That would be really neat!

TinyChat? What?

Have you heard about TinyChat? It’s a really cool feature that MAY beat Skype or Yahoo messenger video chat just because of it’s easy access and functionality. I mean with skype or yahoo messenger, you still have to download their applications and it takes up memory. But with tinychat, you get to automatically connect with friends and talk with more than 10 people at the same time! Great for talking to your friends at home and you can even create public conferences with topics such as weight loss pill or something.

My friend just recently bought a laptop and the first thing I told him was, did you install an antivirus software already? Before you connect your brand new baby to the outside world, you must first protect it. Your laptop is just like a baby because it is vulnerable to infections and so is your laptop. Getting a dependable cover and a laptop bag is also wise for the first time buyers because you really don’t want a scratch on your new toy.
