I’ve been away from my blog because of this Flash base games, Pet Society, an application in Facebook. For me it’s a damn game but yet addictive. Maybe because of its cuteness and all the available cute stuff for your pet. All of my friends are hook to this game. It’s a fun game, you don’t need to think too hard just to enjoy the game. You just need to sit back, play your pet and relax. My hubby is also playing that game even my 5-year-old daughter requested me to make her an account in Facebook coz she wants to play Pet Society. Are we a family of gamers? hehehe
I love using Facebook because of these game applications. They are so cute and entertaining. Since I’m active in Facebook I forget to login to my Friendster account LOL. Oh well, what a trendies! BTW, if you have a Facebook pls do add me as your friend just search for my name ‘Scart Javier’.

New Desktop

Like I said before, my sister in law gave us her old desktop computer. It’s not that updated but it still does what it’s supposed to do. Since it’s a little old, it runs a little slow especially when I open a lot of programs and when I’m running heavy graphics. So, based on that I assumed that maybe I should upgrade the graphics card and add some computer memory. Those things aren’t exactly cheap so this should probably do for now and besides, I still use my laptop and my daughter Yuna is thw one who uses the desktop.
Funny Ties

I remeber as a child, I used to laugh at my dad when ever he used his silk ties. Back then I thought that they look so old and and out of fashion. Recently, my husband took out his ties because he was going to some occassion that required one and I was really surprsed that the ties he had hidden were a lot similar to what my dad had before. Back then I thought those kind if ties were funny but now they’re actually nice and classy. I really like how my husband looks when he wears a tie especially when it’s nice and classy. My dad probably looked like my husband back then I just didn’t understand the concept of wearing a tie.

If you’re a frequent traveller and you ride a plane to get to differnent cities and countries, it’s best that you insure your trip just to make sure that everything runs smoothly no matter what. Getting travel insurance at first might be unnecessary but when you think about it it’ll save you a lot of time and money just in case something unexpected happens. So, next time you travel make sure to include insurance to make your trip worry free and convenient.

Christmas Shopping!

A week ago my family and I along with some friends headed to Chicago Premium Outlet store in Aurora Illinois. Before we went there, we’ve heard so much about the place and how cheap everything is over there. Commute was so long and it took us over 2 hours just to get there. Anyway, when we got there the trip was well worth it. Everything I heard about the store is true. Everything was so damn cheap. All of the stores had some sale going on especially popular brands like Gap, Nike, Converse, Osh Kosh, Carter all had sales from 50% to 70% off. As I recall we only spent about $250 but we went home with a lot of shopping bags. After shopping over there I would never shop anywhere else. For me, this is the best place to spend your money even if it’s hours away.

Right now, we are being introduced to a lot of diet pills. So, which is the right one? Definitely they all do different things and they all have different approaches on your diet. But again…Which one is the best diet pill out there? I’m afraid it’s hard to pick one of the bat. To find out which will suit you you’ll probably have to try each one of them and find which is compatible to you. I’m sure you’ll find something for your self. There’s a lot of websites that have reviews about diet pills so just read which has a good review and then pick and try one.

Year of the Diet Pills

For some reason, this year for me is the year for diet pills. Everywhere I go, doesn’t matter if it’s on the internet, grocery store, mall, etc…You name it, there’s always ads about diet pills. I heard so much about different diet pills. All of them have different approaches on losing weight. So, we have Hoodia, Leptovox, Lipovox and Leptorexin. These are the brands that I hear and see all the time. In fairness to these brands, I mostly hear good reviews about them. I don’t know why I always see these ads when I don’t even plan to loose weight. I am happy the way I am. Maybe it’s a sign that I should start doing something about my weight.

Diet Suplements everyone?

Wheeeew! I noticed that there’s a lot of diet supplements ads everywhere I go. Is everyone getting bigger? Well, being fat or obese is the common problem for most woman. Especially the older ones. They’re so figure conscious. They don’t want to think that they are old. They love to hear people saying… “Wow, you’re still sexy after having 3 kids. What’s you secret?” etc etc. Yeah, I admit I’m one of them but that was before when my hubby and I were not together. Now that I’m with my hubby, I’m more confident and loved. I’m happy of what I’ve become. I’m not that big it’s just that I gained weight just a little bit.

Electric Grill

I’ve been telling my husband that we should buy an electric grill. Cooking would be much easier and plus we all miss eating grilled food. Although the food might not be 100% like real grilled food it’s still pretty close. I found a cook book that has many different healthy grilling recipes and I can’t wait to start making them. Another advantage of grilling your food is that it’s also very healthy. It’s a good way to stay in shape.

I want to learn again…

I remember back in college when I was taking up computer programming, I was part of a team called the elite programmers. It’s so nice to look back at those things that I did back in college. One of our project was to develop POS systems and upon completion we would have to sell them to companies. Back then, I knew a lot of things about programming. I think I could program anything I can think of. It would’ve been great if I stuck into that but I decided to pursue graphics design. Oh well, I’m still happy of what I know now about graphics design but it would’ve been awesome if I were good in both designing and programming.
