The Sims 3 has great lasting gameplay! Up to now, gamers still cannot let go of their Sims’ lives because of the thousands of stories one can tell and thousands of objects to buy. You can create a story more! But one of the longest things in the gameplay is actually the start: decorating your Sims and their houses. It’s actually very enjoyable choosing the right color of dress or buying the coziest outdoor chairs for one’s sim. After looking stylish and all, your sim is off to a real world! Oh so much like a son/daughter!

I was confused for several days coz some peole said it’s out but when we checked it in the store we found out that it won’t be out until the 2nd of June. Since we heard about the rumor that the game was leaked three weeks before the official release date, out of curiosity, we checked it out in torrent site particularly in thepiratebay.com. We downloaded the files overnight and it works perfect hehehe. Don’t get me wrong… I love the game so much. I’ve been playing the game for ten years now so I’m still gonna buy the original copy on the release date. Below is an excerpt from another source who said that leaked wasn’t true?
The Sims 3 files posted on The Pirate’s Bay are just under 5GB total and come from a user listed as “lordofwhee.” As of this posting, nearly 750 people had downloaded the files.

Here is a little review about the game: The new interface is so pretty and you can put all your stuff in every corner of your sim house in different angles. Its fully 3d so your machine should have a 3d accelerator card with high speed processor. There’s a lot of beautiful items and very organized so you won’t get lost finding the stuff in buy mode. There are so much more to expect. I’m kind of excited to explore the game more.

Starcraft II this year!

StarCraft II is a trilogy of military science fiction real-time strategy video games currently under development by Blizzard Entertainment as a sequel to the award-winning 1998 video game StarCraft. StarCraft II, originally envisioned as a single game, was announced to be a trilogy at BlizzCon 2008, consisting of one game followed up later by two expansion packs, provisionally entitled Wings of Liberty, Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void respectively.
Unlike the original series, where each game had three 8-10 mission campaigns, one for each race, each game in the StarCraft II trilogy will have only one, 26-30 mission campaign centered around a single race. The Terrans will be the focus of the first campaign, followed up by Zerg and Protoss races in the expansions. Every game in the trilogy will have all races available to play during the skirmish or multiplayer and online modes. Blizzard claims that each part will have enough content to feel like a full game in its own right. No release dates have been announced for the trilogy.
StarCraft II is being developed for concurrent release on Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Mac OS X. Activision Blizzard, Blizzard’s parent company, believes that the game should be released in 2009.

This game is the reason why my husband keeps telling me that we buy a new PC for games with a strong video card on his birthday. My plan is, we buy the computer parts piece by piece and assemble it by ourselves so we can save extra bucks and have the best gaming parts. Hope we can have extra money before his birthday.

Counter-Strike: Condition Zero (CS:CZ or CZ) is a multiplayer computer game and the follow-up to Counter-Strike. The game was released in 2004 using the GoldSrc Half-Life engine. CS:CZ features a multiplayer mode, which features updated character models, textures, maps and other graphical tweaks. Unlike other Counter-Strike games, Condition Zero also contains a single-player mission pack with the player unlocking maps and more efficient bots as they pass certain requirements for each map while playing as a counter terrorist. These requirements include targets such as “kill 3 enemies with a glock” or “win a round in 45 seconds”. Condition Zero also introduces the Counter-Strike bot.
As of 2008, the game is one of the ten most played Half-Life modifications in terms of players, according to GameSpy.
We are once again addicted with this game. I and my husband has been playing this every night when he gets home from work and when the kids are sleeping already. Our excitement of this game are still there although it’s much fun when you play it with real people not with the stupid bots lol. We mostly play the game 2 against 15 bots. Our strategy is to camp to decrease the bots until there’s only three of them left. This game is still fun to play. We wanted to play it online but we found out that we need to pay for the server.

Playfish Games in Facebook!

I’ve been away from my blog because of this Flash base games, Pet Society, an application in Facebook. For me it’s a damn game but yet addictive. Maybe because of its cuteness and all the available cute stuff for your pet. All of my friends are hook to this game. It’s a fun game, you don’t need to think too hard just to enjoy the game. You just need to sit back, play your pet and relax. My hubby is also playing that game even my 5-year-old daughter requested me to make her an account in Facebook coz she wants to play Pet Society. Are we a family of gamers? hehehe
I love using Facebook because of these game applications. They are so cute and entertaining. Since I’m active in Facebook I forget to login to my Friendster account LOL. Oh well, what a trendies! BTW, if you have a Facebook pls do add me as your friend just search for my name ‘Scart Javier’.

Laptop for Gamers!

Just browsing around the world wide web when I saw this kinda new laptop from Gateway. It was made for gamers. According to a website owner that I just visited a while ago, its the best and friendliest laptop for gamers with a mid range budget. Well, for me its a good choice when it comes to performance-geared laptops. It got excellent ratings from most editor of techie magazines. I would love to have this laptop, surely, if I play Guildwars on this laptop I will not sleep for a whole week! Alrightie, I’m off to search for the best diet pills again for a friend who badly wants it.
To end this topic, here’s a summary of Gateway P-7811FX from CNET:
The good: Features a high-end Centrino 2 CPU and Nvidia GeForce 9800 graphics card for an incredibly reasonable price; higher screen resolution than previous models; 4GB of RAM and 64-bit OS.
The bad: Lacks a few basic amenities, such as Bluetooth and a fingerprint reader; 200GB hard drive is merely average.
The bottom lineThe bottom line: We don’t know how Gateway makes money selling these things, but the combination of high-end components and low price makes the 17-inch Gateway P-7811FX the best mobile gaming deal going right now.

Addicted to Rise of Nation!

Yes I am! Rise of the nation is an old game way back in 2005. As you can see on the image below it was the PC game of the year during that time. I just wonder why I did not get a chance to play this game before. Though graphics is not that fabulous like Starcraft and Red Alert but the gameplay is awesome and well balanced. One of the best RTS (real time strategy) game on PC. I really like it 
My husband and I are actually looking for old games that are great and do not have high system requirements. So that’s the reason why we found out about Rise of the Nation.
