We all know that portable hard disk is very convenient but have you considered of online backups as an option? C’mon what if you found yourself in a situation where you had just completed some important documents, files but only to find out you forgot your portable hard disk to stored it? Luckily there are now free online backup websites that you can create to upload your documents with unlimited bandwidth to access it as well you can send a copy of your document to your email account, but remember there are still con and pro’s in using online backup. But honestly, I can’t trust an online backup. I don’t know, maybe it just me. I feel secured when I can actually touch the hard drive and put it in a safe place.

Frail luggage

My husband always travels from here in the US to our home country the Philippines. He travels once a year and guess what? every year he needs to buy a new luggage. I don’t know what they do in the airport that everytime his luggage comes out it’s always busted or at least something’s broke somehow. I don’t know if I should blame the airport’s crew or the luggage company. He has used different luggage’s from cheap ones to expensive and all of them served their purpose only for a short time.
I was told by a friend who also frequently travels that he uses Delsey luggage. This particular luggage he has used numerous times is still in good condition. There are so many luggage brands out there right now and they all promise to be durable but from my husband’s experiences, I would ask or read some user reviews before I purchase one.

Out of nowhere, I suddenly bump into a tool I really don’t know about. The spring plunger. What exactly are spring plungers? I was told that tool engineers often put spring plungers in their tools to save time and labor. This is possible because spring plungers guarantee controlled spring tension when they’re used in dies, jigs and fixtures. After reading about this tool which is foreign to me, I still can’t imagine how it works.
In my entire life, I don’t recall seeing one. I’ve been around people who uses building tools, heavy tools and mechanical tools. Heck, my dad in his everyday life uses a lot of different tools because he’s a mechanic but I really can’t remember hearing about or seeing a spring plunger. First thing that comes into my mind when I hear spring plunger is the bathroom plunger. Some kind of special sophisticated bathroom plunger…

Travelling without car…

is totally pain in the ass… I’m telling you!
Just this morning we went to one of a determent store preparing to buy some stuff for my daughter’s upcoming school. We waited at the bus station for about more than an hour for the bus and still the bus didn’t show up. So we decided to take a cab but for some reason, all the cabs just passed by us. None of them stopped and we don’t know why. Oh well its just one of the reason why I really want to buy a car.
Speaking of cars, have you heard about electric and hybrid vehicles? I’m pretty sure you heard about it coz those cars are actually launched a year ago. Just take a look at this pic… Its a new Toyota Hybrid X. It’s a perfect car for a family of four.
How I wish we can afford that car. Actually, my husband had been checking a car insurance online quote coz he badly wants to buy a car. Although 2nd hand car is what we can afford for now but there’s nothing wrong on wanting a brand new car, right? I just hope we can meet the target budget by the end of the year.
