Forget technology [dot] com!

You can literally get anything off the internet. Want some delivery? Order them online! Want Medifast coupons? Get them online! Want some wigs? Get them online too! This is why a lot of people are being bums in home and just staring in front of the computer and already forget the outside world. I’m thinking of putting up a site like forget technology [dot] com or something and show pictures of the wonderful life outside of their homes. Get a move with technology but you need to get a move on with your life and do something physical too! Innovation is great, but it’s greater to experience innovation in the flesh.

WIMAX to rule the world…

So, most of us are familiar with WI-FI or wireless fidelity connection. We commonly know that a Wi-Fi-enabled device such as a PC, game console, cell phone, MP3 player or PDA can connect to the Internet when within range of a wireless network connected to the Internet. The coverage of one or more interconnected access points are called hotspot. It can comprise an area as small as a single room with wireless-opaque walls or as large as many square miles covered by overlapping access points. Wi-Fi technology has served to set up mesh networks… It is widely used right now.

And now here comes the WIMAX technology or the Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access is starting to rule the world. The usage of this kind of access is the same with Wi-Fi the only difference is that you can now have access not only within the hotspot but it can provide a wireless connection in over long distances in different ways. We can now browse internet while more than miles away from hotspot. How cool isn’t it?

Many companies right now are closely examining WiMax for their products. Some of them believed that it may bring competition to lower the price for both home and business customers or bring broadband access to places where it has been economically unavailable. Actually, as I have read information about those new gadgets that are about to launch late this year are mostly WiMax-enabled. It is for sure the biggest assets of their products.

N800 Next on Hand!

Now, since I have a new phone which I’ve mention here… I’ve decided not to buy a smart phone for myself instead I want to buy an Internet Tablet like Nokia 800. It’s a portable device for on-the-go Web browsing, and it has some worthy upgrades. Since the latest N810 internet tablet came out, the price of this one dropped to $200 from $399. But it has to wait until my paypal funds reaches the price of my desired gadget  I’m so excited about this gadget because it has a built in microphone and web camera perfect for video chatting. Cool right? I just hope I can use it when doing an audio and video comment on my blog friends hehehe. Oh! not only that, it can also browse flash websites because it includes adobe flash player 9 plugin.

n800

Actually we’ve been thinking of buying a new laptop because I totally own the laptop we have but Luvski also need to use the laptop to do his daily routine like reading his favorite websites. He can’t do that because I use the laptop almost everyday hehehe specially if I’m doing a wordpress theme. He can’t totally use the laptop. So, thats why I’m thinking of buying the internet tablet, it is more affordable than a laptop right? Luvski can use it too since he’s not doing other stuffs in front of the computer besides browsing the net. I love gadgets but I know my limitations when it comes to expensive ones. Why would I buy an expensive phone with real web browsing when there is another option that has the same features… right?
